I want to get a mac book pro, now I work at mcdonalds and I’m a student. Apple offer student discounts and on my mcdonalds discount card I get “17% off all apple products” will I be able to claim both discounts or just one of them

i have a 13 inch mac book pro and about a month ago my puppy ate holes in it. now in septempber he ate it again. he ripped off the plug (sliver part that goes into the computer.) I HAVE APPLE CARE, and im just wondering if they will replace it again.
